The aim was to modernise the property layout, improve natural daylight, and create a large, flexible open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area while maintaining a strong relationship with the existing house and neighbouring properties.

Do you need to visit the property to design an extension?

No. MyHomePlans works 100% online. We use existing plans, measurements, photos, and satellite data to produce accurate designs, 3D renders, and technical drawings without the need for site visits. This keeps costs low and delivery fast.

Will this type of extension get planning permission?

The designs shown are planning-led from the outset. Extension size, height, massing, and neighbour impact are carefully considered to maximise the likelihood of approval. Where possible, we also assess whether the proposal can be completed under Permitted Development. Full Planning is required for wraparound.

How accurate are the 3D renders?
